Ranvet Racing Oil Omega 3 & Omega 6 (20 Ltr)

Ranvet Racing Oil: a blend of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, for use as an energy source for performance horses.

Quick facts

• For: performance horses, endurance and other disciplines
• Type: oil, a high-energy fat source (Ranvet)
• Size: 20 litre
• Taste: Ranvet describes it as highly palatable

What Ranvet says it does

• Gives "cool" energy that does not excite horses the way high-grain diets can
• Limits the heat of digestion, useful in warm climates
• Fat can spare muscle glycogen for endurance work, which delays fatigue
• Omega-3 and Omega-6 support immune response and recovery
• Can reduce the volume of feed needed

Good to know

• Check the feeding rate on the label. Introduce oil slowly.
• Ranvet also says it improves fertility in breeding stallions. Ask your vet if that is your reason for buying.
