The KEP Italia Story — Italian Excellence Since 2007
KEP Italia was founded by two extraordinary women — Lelia Polini, a passionate endurance rider and creative visionary, and Bianca Collet-Serret, a business leader with a background in luxury brands including Hermès. Together they shared one clear mission: to develop a helmet that was more comfortable, safer, and more innovative than anything on the market.
From their base in Calvagese della Riviera in northern Italy, KEP designs and manufactures every helmet in-house — 100% made in Italy, using only the finest materials. Their helmets are constructed from a unique combination of laser-perforated steel in a honeycomb structure, reinforced with aluminium, carbon, stainless steel, and Kevlar — creating a shell that is simultaneously featherlight and extraordinarily strong.
Every single helmet passes through rigorous quality control before leaving the factory. KEP helmets are certified to multiple international safety standards and are continuously updated to exceed current requirements rather than merely meet them.
